What is Raglan Sleeve T-shirt?
Raglan sleeve t-shirt is a creative, classic, cool, and clean apparel. This type of garment is usually intended to wear by all the people involved in sports activities. Knitted fabrics are suitable, because of the comfort in wearing this dress. Single Jersey, Double Jersey, Rib- collar will enhance the aesthetic appearance. This is a unisex wear, men and women will usually wear this dress. Today, raglan sleeve shirts are adaptable enough to make their mark on sweatshirts, pullovers, and so much more.

Polo-round neck collar, tee-shirt collar can also be selected and constructed.

Two or more color are selected and to be constructed, for example front and back part in one color, sleeves and collars are in another color will give the beauty of the dress. Mostly fitted appearance will be preferred.

Measurements Required:

  1. Back length = 28”
  2. Shoulder width = 19”
  3. Chest = 36”
  4. Neck = 16”
  5. Sleeve length from center back neck = 20”
  6. Sleeve open = 15”.

Drafting Details of Raglan Sleeve T-shirt (Front Part):

1 – 2 = Back length + ½”.

2 – 3 = Bottom fold 1 ¼”.

4 – 1 = Scye depth, chest ¼.

5 – 1 = 1/5th Neck.

6 – 1 = ½ shoulder + ½” for seam.

6 – 7 = Draw a line.

8 – 4 = 1/3rd chest less ¾”.

9 – 1 = 1/5th Neck.

9 – 10 = 1/6th Neck.

11 – 8 = Draw a line.

12 is the middle of 10 to 9 measure. Join 12 and 8 as per draft.

12 is the mid-point of 12 to 8 measure.

14 is the mid-point of 13 to 8 measure.

15 is the mid-point of 13 to 12 measure.

16 – 15 = ¾” is noted.

17 – 14 = ¾” is noted. Draw this as per draft.

Front open 18 to 19 = 7” is to be constructed.

Back Part:

20 – 21 = Length = 2”.

21 – 22 = 1 ½” for the bottom.

20 – 23 = 1/4th Chest.

20 – 24 = ½ Shoulder + ½” for seam.

20 – 26 = 1/5th Neck girth.

27 is the mid-point of 20 to 26 measure.

23 – 28 = 1/3rd chest less ¾”.

28 – 29 = Draw a line.

30 is the mid-point of 28 to 27 measure.

31 is the mid-point of 28 to 30 measure.

32 is the mid-point of 30 to 27 measure.

31 – 34 = ¾” is noted.

32 – 33 = ¾” is noted.

1 – 2 = ½ Shoulder + ½” for Seam.

3 – 4 = Fold 1 ½” is noted.

5 – 2 = 1/4th Chest + 1”.

7 – 1 = 2” is noted.

8 – 1 = 2” is noted.

10 – 3 = ½ sleeve open + ½” for seam.

11 – 3 = same as 10 to 3 measure.

5, 10, 10A = Draw as per the draft.

10A – 10B = ¾” is noted.

6, 11, 11A = Draw as per the draft.

11A – 11B = ¾” is noted.

12 is mid-point of 5 to 7 measure.

12 – 13 = ¾” is noted.

14 is the mid-point of 9 to 6 measure.

14 – 15 = 3/4” is noted as per the draft.

Collar:

1 – 2 = ½ Neck girth + 1” is noted.

1 – 3 = 3 ¼” as standard.

2 – 4 = 3 ¼” is noted.

5 – 1 = ½” is noted.

6 is the mid-point of 1 to 2 measure.

7 – 2 = ¾” is noted.

4 – 8 = 3/8” is noted.

9 – 7 = 3 ¼” is noted.

10 – 5 = 1 ½” is noted.

Draw the shape as per the draft.
