PGD Program in Brac University:
Recently Brac University launched a new course named PGD-KIM.
Post Graduate Diploma in Knitwear Industry Management (PGD-KIM): It is a 9-month, non-residential, fully-funded program designed to deliver key skills and knowledge to managers working in knitwear industries and fresh graduates from various public and private universities who are keen to explore a career in the knitwear sector.

Proposed Public Textile Engineering Colleges:
According to Ministry of Jute and Textile (Six Public Textile Engineering Colleges will be established soon by Bangladesh government. These are:

List of Textile Diploma Institutes in Bangladesh
There are seven govt. textile diploma institutes in Bangladesh. Those institutes are operated by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) and Department of Textiles.

  3. Textile Institute, Barisal
  4. Textile Institute, Natore

There are more than hundreds private diploma institutes in Bangladesh. They offer 4 years diploma engineering and various certificate course and training. They also operated by BTEB. They are situated in capital and different districts. Opening textile diploma institutes is like as a business because of huge availability of students. Maximum institutes don’t have proper teaching environments, lacking of educated teachers.
