It is one of the most important backward linkage of the ready-made garment industry of Bangladesh. This industry is the main tool of this country’s energy. Bangladesh’s export trade is now dominated by the textile manufacturing industry. This industry contributes 83% of all exports. Bangladeshi fabric manufacturing industry has a famous reputation in the world’s competitive garments market. Bangladesh is the second largest exporter in readymade western wear apparel. The textile industries provide a single source of growth in Bangladesh’s rapidly developing economy. Bangladesh is far ahead of other fabric manufacturing countries due to its ability to produce a high-quality product at a lower price than other fabric manufacturing countries. Conclusion
Textile industry occupies a unique position in the Bangladesh economy. This industry is the highest contributor in terms of both gross and net export earnings. It is the largest exporting industry in Bangladesh. Fabric manufacturing industry of Bangladesh has been proving its resilience over the last three decades. Domestic and global strategic issues are quite significant in transforming this promising sector that almost single-handedly drives the export growth and foreign currency earnings of Bangladesh.

The government and the textile sector would have to jointly work together to maintain competitiveness in the global textile market. It’s a prime duty for us to provide a perfect working place for the fabric manufacturing industry of Bangladesh which has given our economy a strong footing, created jobs for millions of people, especially for women, lifted them from the abyss of chronic poverty, and given them a magnificent life. Now what we have needed to do is dealing with all the challenges facing our textile industry, paving the way for its further development.
