There is no substitute for choosing the right interior design style if anyone wants to create the right combination of aesthetics and functionality in the home. On the other hand, the role of textile in presenting interior design in a more attractive way is immense. Furnishings such as bedsheets, pillows, carpets and even towels have become stylish with a touch of textile. It is impossible to imagine interior design without textiles.
What is Interior Textile?
Interior Textile is known as home furnishing textile. These are special textiles that are commonly used in interiors in homes, offices, hospitals, hotels, schools and other places. Among the widely used fabrics are satin, brocade, corduroy, damask, satin, velvet (heavy), calico, canvas, terry, taffeta etc. At present the need for textiles in interior design is increasing. As a result, it is creating a great opportunity for textile manufacturers, traders and retailers.
Uses of Textile in Interior Design:
Textile always has a real impact on interior design. It is difficult to imagine a house without the uses of textile in all the furniture. It has also a long history and aristocracy in interior design. Textile decoration was probably the most popular in the Baroque era. At that time, draperies rich in alluring, heavily textured silk and patterned taffeta were in vogue in interior decoration. Also numerous classicism prefers more modest, but sophisticated striped fabrics and Damascus wallpaper. Textile was actively used during the Victorian classics. Homes, furniture, curtains, pillows and carpets were decorated with flowers, polka dot and striped fabrics. It was very fascinating to see these.
These are the conditions of antiquity; the conservative British people still prefer a lot of fabrics in their interior design. Textiles are still used in interior design in high-rise buildings in Moscow. At least one carpet or pillow is used in home decoration. It must be brightly colored. They take color as a trend. Their bedroom is definitely decorated with lots of textiles. In addition to brightly colored furniture, the room is also decorated with a decorative curtain over the bed and pillows of the same color. This decoration can be seen not only in Moscow, but in many countries.
Tiny, but eye-catching such curtains will be suitable not only in the kitchen, but also in any room where the level of natural light is below average. The curtains decorate the interior, but do not block the way of sunlight. Old shawls can also be used as a curtain. People are currently emphasizing this in interior design. Furniture will become more attractive if a fabric canvas is used to decorate the living room.
From the remnants of compatible fabrics, can create beautiful panels. It is made by simply stretching the textile on the front of the appropriate size cardboard.
The use of textiles in the interior design of the bedroom to the living room is completely different. Light colored fabrics are predominant in the decoration of the bedroom. Because the importance of rest is given here. Everything from bed sheets to doors, window curtains are light colored. However, sometimes dark colored carpets are used to bring variety. The textile of the interior design changes again according to the seasons. For example, light colors are preferred for hot weather in summer and dark colored textiles are given more importance in winter.
Importance of Textile in Interior Design:
Through textiles, interior design is expressed in a different and stylish way. Textiles can be used to enhance the interior design. It is usually much easier to set the tone in the room. Just as light tones in the bedroom bring serenity to the mind of the person, on the other hand mixed colored tones in the living room enliven the person. Even a colorful carpet can be sewn from the remnants of a baby’s excess textile that takes the house to a whole new level.
Decorative pillows can decorate the interior in a very simple way. These pillows are suitable for any room. Many times the room can be made more glamorous by placing these on the side of the sofa corner or flooring bed. It has a positive effect on anyone’s mind. And the interior design of the house is more beautiful and tidy; the people of that house are also much more cheerful and lively.
Many times curtains are used to separate the dining room from the living room. In this case, the interior is designed using curtains with decorative designs; on the other hand, the needs are also met. As a result, textiles play an important role in making interior design attractive.
Conclusion:
Interior design can be defined primarily as the process of upgrading or magnifying the beauty and layout of a particular space and is beautifully represented by textiles. The only combination of traditional and contemporary styles in interior design is through textiles. Later, this parallel design style gradually spread to other parts of the house. With this, modern style as well as peaceful accommodation can be ensured. That is why textile is called the cornerstone of interior design.
